Easter intentions
With Easter tomorrow, I have "Polyvored" my ensemble for your review. My big question is about velvet. Is it ok to wear velvet in March?? I LOVE this dress, and am drawn to wear it for Easter this way. The color & texture of my dress reminds me of moss. I love it especially with the blush colored trench coat & shoes. Any other dark color of velvet, I wouldn't wear in March, but being sleeveless & paired like this, I'm excited to attempt. Thoughts???

These are a few of my favorite things..
Snow flakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes. Silver white winters that melt into spring.....
This silver white winter is definitely melting into spring here! Finally! As patches of ground pops up beneath the snow and little buds are forming on the trees, I can't help but long for the nice weather, birds chirping, and hearing kids play outside!! Not only that but a slight change in FASHION! Floral skirts and gladiators.
I decided to put together some collages of my favorite things :) (and a few office supplies)

"Uh, hum...testing, testing...123??"
This is Keri (finally, huh Michalea?). Oh my word! I think that I just made my first post?? Well...since my first post (over some hour ago), I have been inspired to share more about myself & my interest in fashion.
From my favorite faux fur coat in kindergarten, not to mention, the day in 2nd grade I wore my new multi colored Reeboks to school so proudly for the first time (is that telling my age? lol). It was that same day, we'll call her the "mean girl", asked me if I got new shoes, ONLY while she stepped on my foot and was sure to get one of them dirty, was I determined never to care what people thought of my clothes. From the first to wear baggy jeans and combat boots in high school, and wearing dark brown before it was a popular color, I was and still am addicted to clothes.
Only two short years ago last month, my husband & I were blessed with the most amazing & beautiful son in the world. Okay, so I'm extremely partial. While wholeheartedly diving in to my new roll as mommy, also the fact that my dear body was not able to fit into my pre baby clothes, I un-regretibly lost my sense of style for a while.
November 2011, I was reminded of the fashion sense that I had "lost" temporarily. Enter my new friend, fellow blogger & co-worker, Michalea.
Michalea has the unexplainable fashion sense that a lot of people don't understand like I do and adore. We obviously hit it off immediately. And to put the icing on the cake, she is a fellow follower of Christ...<3
Michalea introduced me to bloggers (as mentioned before) like Pink Peonies (MY PERSONAL FAV!), Atlantic Pacific & Classy Girls Wear Pearls. Pinterest & Polyvore.
Michalea also came up with the idea for us to do this blog. Soooo...here's my perfect opportunity to say "thank you", Michalea, for being a part of bringing back my love for fashion. While my wallet isn't very pleased right now, my passion for fashion (oh...promise I didn't mean for that one to rhyme) is...

Snow days!!!
It was the first day of spring 3 days ago and we got 12 inches of snow this weekend!! Here's what we got to enjoy! :)
