Keri's Opinion on the outfit -

This outfit was my pick most in part because of the subtlety in color.  While I love the current brights, it was just a nice change of pace.  I love how Michalea threw the splash of green in with the belt & cami.  I also like how the brown leather accent pieces tie everything together.  

(Not to mention, it just looks super comfortable!)

Michalea's Opinion on the outfit -

I love this outfit for a few different reasons. I love the nutral tones to it, but yet it has that small hint of army green in the mix. The shoes are some of my favorites because they are so comfortable! The purse is a new favorite also! Its a saturday shopping find! See that post here 

It goes with just about EVERYTHING! and the overshoulder bags are so in right now! Love it!

I like the mix of polka dots and stripes are a top favorite pattern mix of mine right now (as you can probably tell... like here, and here, and here (my fav).

All in all this is a cute and comfortable outfit.... However....

I think i'd like it better with just a simple army green top and jean jacket/vest... or a polka dot top without anything over it...

This outfit could be improved but I like it ok.

Neon pop!

Anyone who thinks they do not have a need for this season's popular neon citrine shades MUST think again!  Do you know how versatile this accent color is?  Everyday I am surprised at all the shades this neon yellow color compliments!  My co blogger, Michalea, finally found her wonderfully discounted & long awaited perfect pair of neon flats (Old Navy), when we went shopping last weekend.  So stay tuned to what we pair this beautiful shade with!  Happy Friday!

I love the pastel colors right now! The pinks and blues and greens! One of my all time favorite color combinations is pink, ivory and brown. So today I wore my 10dollartore.com ivory lace vest, my brown old navy deep v neck top, my thrift store floral undershirt, this floral pink skirt I got in vacation a few years back and this NEW purse from our shopping trip last Saturday. It is from rue21 for only $6.99. My sandles were also from rue21 they were around $7 and my belt is actually from another skirt I own (I just stole it for this outfit)... The broach I'm wearing I got at goodwill for $2.99!! That was a happy day, as I LOVE this vintage broach!

When we went shopping Saturday we both found some great stuff! All for great prices! The outlet mall we went to quickly became a top fav for us to shop at!

Working in some first shopping trip items!

For my first shopping excursion find

"ensemble"...as suggested by Mikey (aka: Michalea), I paired my new neon yellow tank from the Old Navy Outlet, new striped belt & pink & tan leather sandals both from the Gap Outlet, with a recently purchased navy & white striped top from Oldnavy.com.  Pink Bubble necklace from prettymints.com & army green utility pants (old) from Old Navy.

Not only are utility pants comfortable, but so versatile dressed up w/ heels or down with sandals.  These I have, happen to be the kind that roll & button, or drawstring, to create more of a crop pant look, or left down as pants.  A must have for every wardrobe that shouldn't go out of style any time soon.
