Pastels

Today is a big day at our office, We are celebrating 125 years of being a Farm Mutual Insurance Company! Thats a LOOOONNNNG time! :D The news paper is coming to take pictures and we are supposed to look our best! I had no idea until 10:00 last night what I was going to wear. I couldn't come up with ANYTHING! So I got on pinterest and found these outfits which I love! I love the soft pinks and creams with the seafoam blue.... <3
I looked through my closet and picked these items out.... Its not exactly like it  but the colors are similar! Thats what I love about pinterest... Making up outfits that are similar to the ones they make up! :D

My Jacket is from Dots. I believe it was around $9
My seafoam top is from a CUTE little store in a small town about 30 min from here where everything is like a quarter! Its rediculously amazing! It was only.25!!!
My shoes are from Cato $6.99
My watch is a gift from Keri for my birthday last year! :D I believe it was $20 Urban Outfitters
My belt is from Dots also (like 7 years ago! its my favorite!) my mom baught it for me to go with my easter outfit :D...it was around $8

Where did the week go?

With such a cold spring, we have still been limited to long sleeves and sweaters! What a nightmare for clothes lovers. We have tried keeping spring colors in our daily outfits, just to add some hope for warmer days;)
PS: is anyone else as infatuated w/ nude shoes; be it flats, wedges, or heels, as we are right now? What did we do before nude shoes???

Our Favorite pick from last weeks blogs is..........

Today is Starbucks day!

Keri is wearing a dress from forever21

And has pulled her hair up in a cute up due for this spring inspired look. Although its been raining all day...(all week actually) we are enjoying our yummy Starbucks!

Mix and Match Friday!!!

The first look is a high-low dress with a jean jacket, belt, and red heals... I think this is more of an edgy look with jacket and belt but still a classy look with the heels.

The second look is a more school girl/preppy look with the pink sweater and sparkle booties. The black purse ties the contrasting colors together.

The third look has a vintage top that I put with the dress to dress it down a bit but the heels give it a touch of dressy.

The fourth is a bit bohemian/vintage chic with the loose fitting, owl shirt with fringed sleeves and gold accents to glam it up a bit. I love those gold gladiator sandals!!!

The fifth and final look is a little bright! But it's perfect for a nice summer day! It's layers add texture and the yellow pops with the blue! And look at how well those heels look with it!

So as you can see, there's tons of way to wear one item! Next time you go to put on that top with the SAME skirt or jeans you wear with every time, check out your closet for other ideas. Dress that shirt up or down. Make it flexible!!! And make everyone thing you have way more clothes than you do by mixing and matching! It's easy and fun! :)
